watershed =The Lys is a small 40 km river (classified as a "torrente ") which flows from theLys glacier on theMonte Rosa massif, at the foot ofVincent-Pyramide (4215 m), and runs through theLys Valley , flanked by a road, before converging with theDora Baltea as a right tributary at Pont-Saint-Martin.Its left-side tributaries are Torrente Avan-cir, Torrente Giassit, Torrente Loo, Torrente di Mos, Torrente Niel, Torrente Pacoulla, and Torrente Tourrison. From the right it receives: Rio di Nantay, Torrente Stolen and Torrente Valbona.
