Rhett became the first rookie in the team's history to rush for 1,000 yards. At 2-9, most people in the Bay area were ready to hang coach Sam Wyche and pack his bags, but then a remarkable thing happened. Tampa Bay won 4 games in a row, something it hadn't done in 15 years. It started with an overtime win in Minnesota. Two wins over the Washington Redskins and one over the Rams set up a big game in Tampa against the Green Bay Packers who were trying to secure a playoff spot. The Bucs were on the verge of a 7-9 season, which would have ended 12 straight years of double digit losses. Green Bay showed up, as did about 30,000 of its fans, and cheered the Packers to their 1994 NFC Central Division Title.
