The western terminus of the route is at its junction with State Route 28 at Consul, an unincorporated community in eastern Marengo County. The eastern terminus of the route is at its junction with State Route 5 near the unincorporated community of Safford in western Dallas County.
Route description
State Route 66 is the second of four state highway routes that connects Linden with Selma. It assumes an eastward trajectory as it connects State Route 28 and State Route 5, passing through rural areas in
Alabama ’s Black Belt. The route is aligned along a two-lane road and does not pass through any incorporated communities.The route was established in
