Chandanwadi, Mumbai

Chandanwadi is a neighbourhood in Mumbai. It is the area around Marine Lines most famous for the Chandanwadi electric crematorium. Chandan means sandalwood in Hindi.

The street was used in the famous song “govinda aale re” picturising evergreen Shammi Kapoor
