March 28 , 1969 in Laval,Quebec ) is a retired Canadianice hockey player who played 48 games in theNational Hockey League . He played with the St. Louis Blues and theOttawa Senators . He graduated fromSt. Lawrence University where he played for theSkating Saints , earningHobey Baker Award nomination in 1992. He is the son of NHL Hall of FamerJacques Laperriere . He currently works as Assistant Coach for theArizona Sundogs of theCentral Hockey League .Laperriere was drafted 93rd overall by St. Louis in the
1989 NHL Entry Draft and went on to play in 48 regular season games, scoring two goals and five assists for season points, collecting 27 penalty minutes. In 1997, he moved toGermany to play in theDeutsche Eishockey-Liga . In five seasons he played for theSchwenningen Wild Wings andEisbären Berlin . He also spent a season in the 2nd Bundesliga forEV Duisburg Die Füchse . He then spent two seasons inSwitzerland 's Nationalliga B forHC Ajoie . He returned to Canada in 2005 to play in theLigue Nord-Américaine de Hockey for theSaint-Georges CRS Express . He moved to the Arizona Sundogs of the CHL in 2006 where his 57 points (11 goals and 46 assist) in 60 games was his most productive in his career and was ranked 5th among CHL defencemen in points. He played the last Season (07/08) forArizona Sundogs of theCentral Hockey League , he is now retirede and works byArizona Sundogs of theCentral Hockey League as Assistant Coach.References
