Everton Giovanella (born September 13, 1970 in Caxias do Sul) is a retired Spanish-Brazilian football player, in the defensive midfielder position. He was best known for tireless physical display.

Having played with modest clubs in native Brazil, Giovanella emigrated to Portugal, playing one season each with Portuguese Liga outfits F.C. Tirsense, G.D. Estoril-Praia and C.F. Os Belenenses.

In 1999-2000, he moved to Spain, representing UD Salamanca and Celta de Vigo. With the Galician side, Giovanella played an important role in the team's domestic and European exploits, but also unluckily injured Deportivo de La Coruña's Manuel Pablo in a September 30, 2001 derby. In December 2004 (sanction ratified in September 2005), Giovanella was banned from football for two years, after testing positive for nandrolone.
