Peter Turnley is an American photojournalist. Currently a contributing editor/photographer at "
Harper's " and represented byCorbis , from 1984 till 2001 he was a contract photographer for "Newsweek ," where his photographs were featured on the cover more than 40 times. His photographs frequently appear in international magazines such as "
Stern ,Paris Match ,Geo , Life,National Geographic , The Sunday Times,Le Figaro ,Le Monde ", and "DoubleTake ". He has published five books: "Beijing Spring, Moments of Revolution, In Times of War and Peace, Parisians," and "McClellan Street."
