Fredericton Public Library

The Fredericton Public Library is a public library located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; it is the province's most used library. [Fredericton Tourist Information Guide, 1990-2005 editions.] Built in June 1975 and remodelled and expanded in 1990 [Fredericton Tourist Information Guide, 1991-2005 editions.] , the library holds books, large print books, current magazines and newspapers, compact disks, VHS and a slowly diminishing collection of gramophone records and compact cassettes. Microforms were also available until around 2004 when they were donated to the Harriet Irving Library located at the University of New Brunswick. In addition, the library contains a restricted provincial archives collection, technology and children's room.
