Anna Brecon

Anna Brecon (born 1971, Wiltshire, England) is an actress who appeared in the ITV soap opera "Emmerdale" as Lady Tara Thornfield (1997–1998 and 2000–2002), returning briefly on 28 May 2007. [" [http://www.itv.com/page.asp?partid=502 Pearl and Edna fight] ", "itv.com". URL last accessed 2007-05-23]

Brecon has been involved with two advertising campaigns for Ferrero Rocher, won the Most Popular Newcomer Award at the 1998 National Television Awards, [ [http://www.thecustard.tv/linksandlists/nationaltvawards.html National Television Awards] , winners 1998–2006. Brecon has also appeared in films, including the 1997 comedy "Bring Me the Head of Mavis Davis" and the 1997 fantasy "", as well as the 1999 thriller "Only Darkness" and the comedy "Mixed Up" (currently in production and expected to be released in 2009).

She suffered a minor injury in the Hatfield (Hertfordshire) rail disaster in October 17 2000 on her way from London to the Yorkshire Television Studios in Leeds, receiving only cuts and bruises.

She has been married to Stephen Beckett since 2002; their daughter Nancy was born in May 2005.
