Much of the park's vegetation is composed of dry
sclerophyll communities such aseucalypt woodland as well asheathland and coastal communities. There are also small patches of wet eucalypt forest andtemperate rainforest . Common mammals in the park are
Bennett's Wallaby ,Common Brushtail Possum andTasmanian Pademelon . TheEastern Quoll has been reported.Spotted-tail Quoll s,Tasmanian Devil s andCommon Wombat s are absent. All eleven of Tasmania's endemic bird species are present, notably theForty-spotted Pardalote for which the island is the main stronghold.Little Penguin s andHooded Plover s breed on the coast. Reptiles recorded include theTiger Snake ,Lowland Copperhead andWhite-lipped Snake .References
