Wolfe (provincial electoral district)

Wolfe (provincial electoral district)

Wolfe was a provincial electoral district in the province of Quebec, Canada. Located in the Estrie region, it was formed in 1890 from a split of Richmond-Wolfe into two ridings including Richmond. In 1970, Wolfe was merged with Richmond which the latter one kept the same name.

Wolfe was named in honour of English general James Wolfe in which he led the troops to defeat France in the Battle of Quebec City in 1759.
