Christian Guitar Resource (often abbreviated CGR) is a website for Christian music fans, Christian guitarists, and Christian bassists. According to the home page of the site, as of September 13, 2008 the site contains 14,574 tabs which have been viewed 68,375,988 times.
Christian Guitar Resources also operates an extensive page of forums offering social interaction, musical advice, and religious discussion.
CGR was founded July 2000 by Mickey Mellen. Mickey set up the homepage at http://www.christianguitar.org on February 4th, 2001. Since then, the site has been sold twice, although most users have continued to support the forums. Aside from the new owner, the entire staff of the site consists of volunteers.
