List of Gurren Lagann episodes

This is a list of episodes of the Japanese anime "Gurren Lagann". Note that not all of the English translations are official titles. The anime premiered on the TV Tokyo television network on April 1, 2007 containing twenty-seven episodes. Animation production is by Gainax and the series is directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi. The English version began to air on Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday block, airing two episodes a week, starting July 28, 2008.

Each episode title is actually a line said by one of the characters during its course. From episodes one through eight, it was Kamina's; from episodes nine through fifteen, it was Nia's; while episode sixteen was a recap with the preview for it voiced by Viral. From episode seventeen to twenty-two it was Rossiu's; and from episode twenty-three to twenty-seven, Simon states the episode's title. Similarly, the quoted character also voices the previews for the next episode, except between arcs, when the character is changed. The arcs themselves seem to loosely revolve around the specific character.
