Papyrus 13 (P13) is an early copy of the New Testament in Greek. It was copied on papyrus in the third century, at a date somewhere between 225-250 CE.

P13 was discovered by Bernard Pyne Grenfell and Arthur Surridge Hunt in Oxyrhynchus, Egypt. It is currently housed at the British and Medici Libraries.

The surviving text is twelve columns, of 23 to 27 lines each, from a scroll. This is all from the Epistle to the Hebrews, namely 2:14-5:5; 10:8-22; 10:29-11:13; 11:28-12:17. The page numbers suggest something preceded Hebrews in the original scroll.

The text-type is Alexandrian. P13 agrees closely with the text of Codex Vaticanus. It also has 80% agreement with P46. It is the largest papyrus manuscript of the New Testament outside the Chester Beatty Papyri.

P13 is written on the verso (back) of the scroll, the recto (front) has part of the text of Livy's "History of Rome", dated to around the year 200. [Philip W Comfort and David P Barrett, "The Text of the Earliest New Testament Greek Manuscripts", (Wheaton, Illinois: Tyndale House Publishers Incorporated, 2001), pp. 83-92.]

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Kurt Aland placed it in Category I.
