April 20 ,1985 in Milwaukee,Wisconsin ) is a professional skateboarder.He started out riding for Bear City Skateboards. Then he went toTampa and got discovered by Al Partanen, where he turned pro for Illenium Skateboards. In late 2003,was also on Krooked Skateboards he left Illenium to ride forRodney Mullen 's new board company,Almost Skateboards .Today, his sponsors include
Almost Skateboards ,Globe Shoes , Ricta Wheels, FKD Bearings,Independent Trucks ,Mob Griptape, Drop Backpac,Oakley ,Monster Energy Drink , Gnar Side Militia and Sun Diego Skateshop.Lutzka is one of the newer riders for the Almost Team, he became one of the more noticed riders for Almost after the departure of
Ryan Sheckler . Lutzka started skatboarding in 1997 and turned pro in 2001.Lutzka is a technical skater, who likes to incorporate kickflip combos into his runs - runs that usually seem to hit most everything on the course. Greg Lutzka loves to try new things and challenge himself, and this style shows in his
skateboarding .Lutzka will be starring in Episode 4 of Globe's "United By Fate" series of short films, which will be released in
August 2008.Globe has just released his first pro model shoe called The Culprit.
Originally from "Beer City" USA, Greg grew up in Milwaukee skateboarding where he could skate 10 to 15 street spots a day without the hassle of getting kicked out or much traffiic ,while traveling to various countrys he progressed as a professional skateboarder. With the encouragement from his mentors and others in the industry he moved to Southern California at the age of 18 to progress further and follow his passion and carrear .
Known as a media skater, as long as he's on his skateboard and having fun, Greg is in his element. He's been featured in countless skateboard and urban magazines, has parts in the Almost-Round 3, Oakley-Our Life and various other skateboard videos. He recently completed the Globe-United by Fate 4 that features skate spots from his hometown and all around the world.
Never one to sit idle, Greg did a cameo in the movie, Accepted, has been featured on all diffrent tv shows also working on with lil jon on all kinds of projects. In addition, this past season at the Southside Skatepark in Houston, TX, Greg donated his $2,500 in contest winnings to the Make A Wish Foundation. Greg is part of the next generation of skateboarding stars.
He feels blessed for all his success and knows it couldn't have been done without the support of his family, friends, and sponsors and without a doubt, his fans.
