In California, Stag Arms are known for their "off-list" status, making their receivers legal to build AR type rifles with. Since Stag Arms are not a manufacturer listed by name on the DOJ's Kasler list, it renders the receiver legal, as long as all laws are followed when building an AR type rifle.
