glacier on the northeast face ofMount Rainier inWashington . The glacier starts below the Steamboat Prow at about Convert|9400|ft|m|-2 and flows northeast down to itsmoraine at Convert|7000|ft|m|-2. The gentletopography under the glacier results in a smooth glacial surface with little in the way ofcrevasse s.
