Roman Catholic high school inO'Fallon, Missouri . It is located in theRoman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Louis .Background
St. Dominic is a regional Catholic high school offering young men and women an education rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Following the Dominican tradition of prayer, study, community, and service, we encourage lifelong growth in faith, knowledge, leadership, and involvement.
=Philosophy=
The St. Dominic High School community believes that each person is sacred, unique, and blessed with different talents. Through academic, spiritual, athletic, extracurricular, and service programs, St. Dominic provides the opportunity for students to discover, develop, and use their God-given talents.
In doing so, the school works in partnership with the family to stimulate and guide their son or daughter spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially. We offer opportunities for prayer and reflection and nurture moral and ethical decision making skills that enable students to make wise choices in our technological culture. We believe that in the give and take of the classroom community, students can acquire the knowledge and skills needed for the work place and can build an awareness that we are all members of a global community.
The St. Dominic High School community believes that each student can become a faith-filled adult aware of the wholeness and richness of life and committed to a life of generosity and service to others.

=New Multi-Purpose Building and Fine Arts Center=
The proposed addition has been designed with the Multi-Purpose Building/Gym and the Performing Arts Center as separate wings of a single facility. The Multi-Purpose Building/Gym will be a two-level, 45,000 square-foot structure that will accommodate our student body and staff and an enrollment of 800+. The Performing Arts Center will greatly improve our students’ theatrical and musical opportunities, both in performance and technical matters, while ensuring that music and drama classrooms remain optimal learning environments.
The design of the Multi-Purpose Building/Gym allows for several activities to occur at one time and provides the space needed for a comprehensive physical education curriculum, multiple athletic practices, sports contests and weight training. Its size will ease scheduling challenges associated with a multi-use space, and additional classrooms on the mezzanine will ease classroom crowding. For the first time, we’ll be able to host District contests. As the spacious venue for all-school Masses, assemblies, Homecoming and other social activities and meetings, this facility will allow us to gather comfortably in one place.
The Performing Arts Center will also serve as an additional venue for class Masses, class meetings and parent meetings. Incorporating both facilities under one roof will allow for shared service spaces with a spacious common lobby to both. There’ll be a convenient access from the north parking area. Connection to the existing gymnasium will allow for improved circulation throughout all areas of the school building. The existing gymnasium will be maintained for physical education classes, athletic practices and small assemblies.
=Admissions=
In accepting students we look for young people who can profit from and contribute to the educational and Catholic mission of St. Dominic High School. We admit students on the basis of academic, behavior and discipline records from the previous school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color of national/ethnic origin. We give priority to those whose families have supported our school and Catholic education in general. Students need to obtain applications from their current Catholic grade school or PSR program, or call the high school to obtain an application.
=Curriculum=
St. Dominic High School offers a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum designed to ready our students for college and post-secondary life.
