Piers Dutton

Sir Piers Dutton (d.17 August 1545) was the 17th Lord of the Manor of Dutton.

Piers Dutton was the son of Piers Dutton and Elizabeth Foulshurst. He married Eleanor Leigh who was the daughter of Thomas Leigh of Adlington and Katherine Savage. He was judged to be the next heir to Lawrence Dutton, who died in 1525, which meant he inherited all the Dutton lands. Piers Dutton was the Mayor of Chester in 1513. He was knighed by Henry VIII in 1527. Sir Piers Dutton's second wife was Julian Poytz. He started rebuilding Dutton Hall in 1539.

Sir Piers Dutton and Eleanor Leigh had nine children:
