Janeen Brady

Janeen Brady (born 1934) is a Mormon composer/lyricist and co-founder of Brite Music, Inc. One of her songs was included in the 1989 "Children's Songbook" of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).

Her name at birth was Janeen Jacobs. She attended Brigham Young University where she met her husband, Ted Brady. Janeen and Ted Brady founded Brite Music, Inc. in 1978. Brady was the co-author of the Brite Music published "Standing Tall" books along with Grant Wilson and Diane Woolley. She is very well known for her Safety Kids music that taught children to stay safe from all kinds of dangers (drugs, strangers, and keep a clean mind). It was also turned into a movie to be used in elementary schools.

Brady's song "I Lived in Heaven" is in the 1989 Children's Songbook of the LDS Church. Another one of her widely sung songs is "When I Grow Up I Want to Be A Mother".
