"George Wallace" follows the history of this controversial politician, starting in the 1950s as circuit court judge in Barbour County, to his ascension as the most powerful Governor in the State of Alabama's history. The film shows a portrayal of a complex man and his popular stance on
racial segregation inAlabama at the time. This movie also depicts his rise as a presidential hopeful, and eventually leading to his attempted assassination, and winning several states in the nationwide election for President. This movie also features his symbolic "stand in the schoolhouse door" to block black students from entering theUniversity of Alabama .Production
