CKBB-FM

CKBB-FM

CKBB-FM was a former radio station in Sudbury, Ontario, broadcasting tourist information programming at 102.9 FM. The station was launched in 2001, until the station was closed down in 2005 due to lack of funding and technical issues. CKBB was owned by Eternacom Inc., which currently owns CJTK-FM in Sudbury. Currently, CKBB-FM still remains off the air. (Prior to CKBB-FM's launch in 2001 in Sudbury, the call sign CKBB was previously used by a former AM radio station out of Barrie, Ontario from 1949-1994, now known today as CIQB).
