Nuffnang.com has offices in 4 different countries: Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Melbourne since November 2008.[3] Nuffnang bloggers are known as Nuffnangers while their staff are known as Nuffies. Every Nuffnang Blogger is promoted to join its Glitterati exclusivity program if the blog does not have any other advertising networks from South East Asia. Glitterati member are prioritized for advertorial opportunities and have access to Innit.[6]
Nuffnang Innit
Nuffnang Innit works as a blog aggregator for all Nuffnang Glitterati, featuring a voting ("Nang") system and easy retrieval of latest posts. It is a method of blog traffic exchange.[7]
Controversies
Nuffnang added, without prior notice, a $1 administrative fee on payments that was noted on the cashout page. The sudden introduction of this fee did not go down well with some bloggers.[8][9][10] Nuffnang has since responded with a brief breakdown of their operational costs,[11] as well as pointing out that their cashout threshold of $50 was lower than that of their competitors.[12]
