Mover studied very briefly at
Berklee College of Music , until seeking out private study with Gary Chaffee and moved toLondon . Shortly after the move, Mover landed the gig withMarillion . Although Mover recorded a live CD in Germany and co-wrote material for the band's second release Fugazi, the gig was short-lived, allowing him the opportunity to team up withSteve Hackett of Genesis and Steve Howe of Yes to start the supergroup known as GTR, famous for its guitar riffs and solid percussion. The trio then recruited lead singerMax Bacon and bassistPhil Spalding . After one successful record and world tour, Hackett called it quits, as did Mover, since his allegiance was to Hackett. Not long after, having played a gig with Steve Vai andJoe Satriani , Mover accepted the offer to work with Satriani, and made the move back to the states after 9 years in London. He settled inNew York City and still resides there to this day.kyline Studios NYC

Each issue includes an audio CD, containing music to listen and play along to, private lessons from some of the world’s top players and audio reviews/previews. The CD also corresponds to an extensive website which includes all of the lessons in video format.
