The high school will add one grade, consecutively. This means that Sunnyvale students currently attending North Mesquite High School will finish their high school education there, and the class of 2010 will be the last North Mesquite class that caters to Sunnyvale students. The class of 2011 will be the first class that graduates from Sunnyvale High School, and the class of 2013 will be the first class to have attended all four years on the school's campus.
