List of archbishops of Central Africa

This is a list of the Archbishops of the Anglican Church of the Province of Central Africa, which encompasses the present-day Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Archbishops

*195-57:Edward Francis Paget, Bishop of Southern Rhodesia, later Bishop of Mashonaland (born 1886; died 1971)
*1957-61:William James Hughes, Bishop of Matabeleland(born 1894; died 1979)
*1962-1970: Francis Oliver Green-Wilkinson, Bishop of Northern Rhodesia, later Bishop of Zambia (born 1913; died 1970)
*1971-1980: Donald Arden, Bishop of Malawi, later Bishop of Southern Malawi
*1980-2000: Walter Paul Khotso Makhulu, Bishop of Botswana 1980-1999 (retired)
*2000 to date: Dr Bernard Amos Malango, Bishop of Upper Shire in Malawi
