Fly Ashtray

A Shimmy Disc band that kept on trucking, Fly Ashtray has recorded 10 albums or so of noodley psych-rock with strange noises and frequent time-changes included. The band has performed regularly in New York City since 1983.

They recorded two albums with the legendary Kramer of Shimmy Disc and two albums with Dark Beloved Cloud.

Their most recent effort is a self-released disk titled "Pantswind Folder" (2006).

Current line-up: Chris Thomas (co-founder of Rubulad), James Kavoussi, David Abel, and Eric Marc Cohen.

Past members include Eric Thomas, John Beekman, Mike Anzalone, and Glenn Luttman.
