Mark was born in
Castleford ,Yorkshire on the 21st of November 1960.Rugby
Having learned the art of Rugby at the college of St Hild and St Bede, university of Durham, Mark went on to have a fruitful career including 7 full caps for England as a winger.

Teaching Career
As Headmaster and Chief Executive of the
Grammar School at Leeds Dr. Mark Bailey is a Medieval Historian and has written books on Medieval economics, the Black Death and Medieval rabbit populations. He was also instrumental in the merger ofLeeds Grammar School (where he has held the role of Headmaster since 1999) andLeeds Girl's High School .
