TheAlpini are a mountain infantry corps of the Italian Army, that distinguished itself in combat duringWorld War I andWorld War II .The main task of the regiment was the training of the recruits for the Alpini regiments based in the
Trentino-Alto Adige region of northern Italy. With the suspension of compulsory military service in Italy the regiment was dissolved on September 30th, 2004.Structure
