RutgersMike Rice Jr. (born February 13, 1969Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at Rutgers University, formerly holding the same position at Robert Morris. He is the son of former college basketball coach and current Portland Trail Blazers announcer Mike Rice and is also a distant relative of Ray Rice. In 2009, he helped lead Robert Morris to its first NCAA Tournament since 1992.[1]
