Ulf the Brave

Ulf the Brave was a Norwegian hersir who probably lived in Sogn in the early ninth century CE. He was the father of Hallbjorn Halftroll and Hallbera Ulfsdóttir. He was the grandfather of Kveldulf Bjalfasson and thus the ancestor of the clan of Egill Skallagrimsson. He is mentioned in "Egils Saga".
