Alex Marcel Valencia (born 22 September 1979 in Bergen) is a Norwegian footballer of Colombian descent (his father is Norwegian, his mother is Colombian). He currently plays for Odd Grenland in Norwegian First Division after a transfer from the Danish Superliga side AGF in july 2008. He usually plays on the right wing.

He has previously played at top-flight level for Norwegian Brann and Start. He is regarded as one of the best Norwegian players in his position and was also selected by TV2 Nettavisen and the big Norwegian newspaper VG as 'Tippeliga Player of the Year 2005' [ [http://fotball.vg.no/bors/best_bors.php?sesong_id=143 Best på VG-børsen 2005] ] playing for IK Start. He has played five times for the Norwegian national team and also won 8 caps for the Norwegian Futsal National team.
