Reprint Collections

This section lists only reprints from ongoing series. All were issues in trade paperback format unless noted.

Amazing Spider-Man

The following trade paperbacks are stories which have reprinted the Amazing Spider-Man comic book issues. Amazing Spider-Man (ASM) started off with issue #1 and goes up to #441. In January 1999, Marvel began numbering Amazing Spider-Man with Vol. 2 issue #1. When J. Michael Straczynski took over as writer with issue #30, a dual numbering system began with the listing of Vol. 1 and 2 issues (Vol 1. 471/Vol. 30). This numbering system lasted until the last issue of Vol. 2 which was issue #58. At that point, Marvel reverted to using the original numbering system starting issue #500. Vol. 2 issues #1-58 are considered as issues #442-499 of the original numbering system. Also note that Vol. 2 #1-29 have not been collected as of yet.

Marvel Comics did release a DVD with all the Amazing Spider-Man comics printed from March 1963 through June 2006. It is called [http://talesofwonder.com/product-exec/product_id/43295/category_id/34/sc/1,21,34 Amazing Spider-Man Complete Collection 1963-2006 DVD-ROM: 43 years!]
