Joseph Henry Hamilton (January 6 1929 – June 9, 1991) was an American television producer and actor.

Starting out as a comedian, Hamilton was spotted by actress Carol Burnett. He worked with her on both the short-lived CBS variety show "The Entertainers" and her long-running eponymous series as executive producer and composer of its theme song. Hamlton won five Emmy Awards, the first for "The Garry Moore Show", which featured Burnett. He is the composer of the theme song of the 1970s

His first marriage was to Gloria Hartley and they had eight children. They had three children together before they divorced in 1984. His third marriage was to Lee Troggio in 1991. Hamilton died from cancer in 1991. He is buried in "Holy Cross Cemetery".

Hamilton was the brother of television actress Kipp Hamilton.
