Moubayed studied at the
American University of Beirut and obtained his PhD in Middle East Politics from theUniversity of Exeter .He currently teaches at the Faculty of International Relations at al-Kalamoun University in
Syria . He is also Editor-in-Chief of FORWARD, the leading English monthly in Syria, and Vice-President of Haykal Media. Over the last ten-years, Moubayed has interviewed leading regional and international figures, like German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Lebanese President Elias Hrawi.Works

Syria ,Lebanon ,Iraq , andPalestine . He is the co-creator of www.syrianhistory.com, an online museum of Syrian history.
