Simon Van Booy

Simon Van Booy is a British author. His debut short-story collection is "The Secret Lives of People in Love".

Van Booy was born in London and grew up in rural Wales and Oxford. After playing football in Kentucky for two years, he lived in Paris and Athens. In 2002 he was awarded an M.F.A. and won the H.R. Hays Poetry Award. His journalism has appeared in magazines and newspapers including "The New York Times" and the "New York Post". Van Booy now lives in New York City where he teaches at the School of Visual Arts and Long Island University. He is also involved in the Bard College Access Program for at-risk young adults.

The Secret Lives of People in Love

"The Secret Lives of People in Love" is a story collection set in present day New York City, Paris, Rome, and Greece.
