Uyanda Mbuli

Uyanda Mbuli is a South African actress, television personality, and businessperson. She is best known for her appearances on the South African television shows Selimathunzi, FMS, Take 5, and others.

Biography

Uyanda first entered South African entertainment while still studying at University of the Western Cape; in 1996, she was crowned Miss Cape Town. Then came the Miss Mpumalanga title, a talk show on Legwalagwala FM, a position as youth editor of the Lowvelder & Mpumalanga News, where she interviewed former President Nelson Mandela and President Thabo Mbeki, followed by her high-profile appointment as manager of the SABC1 Publicity & Events Division during its Yamampela transformation.

Uyanda Mbuli made her acting debut on Tshisa, an SABC1 drama series. She interviewed the cast of Tsotsi during the Oscar celebrations, she covered the KORA All Music Awards and the 2006 Daytime Emmys in Hollywood for SA TV, and she interviewed the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful.

Sunday Times, South Africa's biggest newspaper named her 'South Africa's Top Hobnobber' for her social standing.
