CT Stars and the Excitement Brigade is an American ska band that originates from Hamilton, Massachusetts. The band started in November, 2005. Scott, the bassist, Chris Y., the keyboardist, and Nate, the drummer started out in 2004 with Third Degree, a jazz trio band that played its only show at the 2004 Miles River Talent Show. The next year, Chris v.S. was added to the band on guitar. The started playing Blink 182 covers and other punk rock. Then, as time passed, they developed into a ska band. Jake N. was added to the band on saxophone in early 2007. They have played shows with bands such as theRANSOM, Murdock's Revenge, Mile 21, Backbeat, The Syzlaks, and Lunch. More recently, they have added Andrew F. on Trombone. CT Stars was named best young local ska act on the North Shore in 2007. {last.fm}
