It is administered by theKent County Football Association .The original competition organised in Kent was the Kent Badge won in its three year history by Chatham. This competition was replaced by the Kent Senior Cup in 1889. Between 1894 and 1897 the cup was awarded tothe Kent League champions.Past winners of the Kent Senior Cup includeRoyal Arsenal (now Arsenal) in 1889-90, and Gillingham in 1945-46 and 1947-48; the two sides are now members of thePremier League andFootball League respectively. The 2005-06 and 2006-07 winners were Bromley. In the 2005-06 final, Bromley defeated Gravesend and Northfleet 3-2 after extra time on April 27 2006. It was the seventh time that Ebbsfleet United had won the competition.
