The Australian Conservative Party is another name for the early Australian political parties which drew their ideas from the British Tories.It was a registered political party in 1989 and active until 1991 when it was deregistered [http://www.aec.gov.au/Parties_and_Representatives/Party_Registration/Deregistered_P/conserv_party.htm] by the AEC when the membership fell below the required 500 members.The party then attempted to reform under "Australian Conservative Alliance" also known as Australia First in 1995.
