Geoffrey Wilson was a first class cricketer who played 10 matches for Cambridge University in 1919 and 1920, 92 for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1919 and 1924 and 13 for Marylebone Cricket Club in 1922/23 on a tour of Australia. He was Yorkshire Club captain from 1922 to 1924.
He scored 1,801 runs at 16.22 with a best of 142* for M.C.C. against Victoria, his only century. He took 44 catches in the field. He took 1 wicket for 55 bowling right arm medium pace. He was born on August 21, 1895 in Potternewtown, Leeds and died on November 29, 1960 in Southsea, Hampshire.
