Jenna Wolfe (born in 1974 in
Jamaica ) is an American journalist. Jenna currently reports forNBC News as a correspondent for "Today", and co-host of "Sunday Today". Wolfe occasionally guest hosts forMika Brzezinski onMorning Joe onMSNBC . Wolfe previously reported sports on the weekend morning editions of ABC's "Eyewitness News" inNew York City . Wolfe occasionally substitutes on the fourth hour of "Today".Wolfe joinedWABC-TV in 2004. Prior to that, she worked for theMadison Square Garden Network . Before that, she was the first female sportscaster forWPHL-TV inPhiladelphia , forWICZ-TV in Binghamton, and forWUHF-TV in Rochester NY. The anchor of her weekend morning reports on WABC "Eyewitness News" was her segment "Jenna's Beef", in which she editorialized on an event from the world of sports that week. Wolfe also occasionally substitutes forLester Holt andAmy Robach on the Saturday Edition of "Today".Wolfe was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in Petionville, Haiti, before moving to the United States with her family in 1989. She graduated from SUNY-Binghamton with Bachelor of Arts degrees in French and English. She is fluent in French and Creole.

She is known by her co-workers as J-Date. In an Olympic wrap-up show, Jenna was involved in a slight controversy when fellow cohost, Tiki Barber, may have accidentally used an expletive on the air.
