Chavez was raised in
Arvada ,Colorado the son of Betty, a scientist, and Nicholas Sr., a Human Resources manager. He has a younger brother,Kristopher with whom he currently pursues a number of business interests in the entertainment industry.
At the age of 5, Nicholas “the

Chavez started “trailblazing” as Entrepreneur Magazine refers to his career at the age of 15, when he started his own computer consulting company. Between 1998 and 2000, Chavez designed and implemented technical systems for
Raytheon , and ERP systems first forVicorp andRoyal Dutch Shell . Chavez then took an executive position withAccenture in 2001 to serve (among other stations) as the Chief Technical Architect for CPGMarket, aB2B brokerage system which streamlined thesupply chain ofconsumer packaged goods fromEurope an companies such asCoca-Cola andGroupe Danone . Chavez designed a similar system while employed byFujitsu for intended implementation atCaterpillar Inc. andDell Inc. In 2004, Chavez set out on his own to invent and co-found RideOnTime.com, an online mapping and booking system for taxi and limosuine service. Chavez sold 84% of RideOnTime in 2005, and still retains and eleven-percent stake.
In 2005, Chavez became Chairman and president of RFID, LTD. by reverse merging his
privately held company Packaged RFID, Inc. into apublicly traded company established in 1985 as Continental Capital Corporation. The aim of RFID, LTD. was to target the needs of specific niche markets associated with the Radio Frequency identification field through resale of established technologies to suppliers of theUnited States Department of Defense andWal-Mart .However, RFID, LTD. was never able to convert any sales under Chavez's leadership, due in large part to the high cost of RFID implementation. Before it's downfall, RFID, LTD. had a
market cap near $90 million.January 2008 marked the cessation of all formal association with RFID, LTD. and the technology industry for Chavez. As of March 2008, Chavez is executive producing albums for three musicians and directing a
film entitled "Passing Buck".Awards and Rankings
Entrepreneur Magazine named Mr. Chavez a “trailblazer in technology” stating Nicholas Chavez is possessed of a .International Modeling and Talent Association awarded Nicholas Chavez the "2nd Runner Up to Talent of the Year Award" 1994 in NYC. This was the same year his younger brother Kristopher won "Talent of the Year Award" in New York and Chavez family friendJessica Biel won "Talent of the Year Award" fromIMTA in Los Angeles.
