Orange Bowl (tennis)

The Orange Bowl is an ITF World Junior championships event, and is widely recognized as one of the most important junior tennis championships in the world [ cite web|url=http://www.jrorangebowl.com/Events-index-id-20-g_id-20.html|title=http://www.jrorangebowl.com/Events-index-id-20-g_id-20.html] . Established in 1962, the tournament consists of Boys' and Girls' 12 and 14-year-old age divisions, and takes place during December in varying locations in and around Miami and Coral Gables, Florida. Over the years the draw has included several great players who have gone on to gain stardom on the professional circuit. Tennis greats Chris Evert, Jimmy Connors, Mary Joe Fernandez, Monica Seles, Marcelo Rios, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf and Roger Federer have all played in the tournament.
