As of May 10, 2010 her highest singles ranking on the WTA is World Number 35, which she achieved on June 23, 2008.

Career
She reached her first WTA Tour final at the 2008 Cellular South Open in Memphis, Tennessee. There she lost in straight sets to Lindsay Davenport.
2009
She began her year at the 2009 Brisbane International, here she defeated 8th seed Francesca Schiavone 7–5 6–2 en route to the quarter finals. She fell here however against world no 41. Sara Errani 6–3 6–3.
At the Australian Open she received main draw entry but was drawn against 20th seed Amélie Mauresmo in the first round, she lost in straight sets 6–4 6–3.
She then played in Indian Wells, a premier mandatory event. She defeated British no 1 Anne Keothavong in the first round before falling to Shuai Peng.
In Miami the second premier mandatory event she lost in the first round to Belarussian qualifier Anastasiya Yakimova.
In October, she reached the finals of the Kremlin Cup, losing 6–3 6–0 to Francesca Schiavone of Italy.
2010
She started the year 2010 with the 2010 Brisbane International were she lost in the first round to Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová with the score 4–6, 1–6.At the 2010 Medibank International Sydney she lost in the first qualifing round to Chanelle Scheepers with the score 2–6, 3–6. At the 2010 Australian Open she lost in the first round to Angelique Kerberwit the 2 sets 6–3. At the MPS Group Championships she beat seed 2 Alona Bondarenko in the first round 6-3m 4–6, 6–0, in the secound round se beat Anna Tatishvili with the score 6–2, 6–2, in the quarter-finals she defarted Varvara Lepchenko with the score 6–2, 6–3, in semi-final she defarted seed 3 Dominika Cibulková with the score 6–2, 7–5, to lost in the final to Caroline Wozniacki withj the score 2–6, 5–7, and to lost her third WTA singles final in her career.
