Playing career

He first featured for the Ireland cricket team at Under-19 level, playing in the 1999 European Championship [ [http://www.cricketeurope4.net/CRICKETEUROPE/DATABASE/1999/TOURNAMENTS/EUROU19/TEAMS/ireland.shtml Ireland squad for the 1999 European Under 19 Championship at CricketEurope] ] and the following years U/19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. He made his debut for the senior side later in 2000, playing two matches against the MCC in Eglinton, County Londonderry in May. The following month, he played what to date is his final match for Ireland against Scotland, which is his only first-class match.

Whilst he has not played for the Irish senior side since 2000, he has continued to play at lower levels.
