Bulgarian Black Sea Coast . It is located 49 miles south ofVarna , 34 miles north ofBurgas and 9 miles south ofObzor . It forms the tip ofStara Planina . Cape Emine is said to beBulgaria 's stormiest cape.In the
Middle Ages , there was a fortress called "Emona" on Cape Emine. Its name was derived from "Aemon", the ancient name forStara Planina . Nowadays, only some ruins of the fortress are left. There are also remnants of amonastery and alighthouse . The village of Emona is located nearby.External Links
