Michael Charles Brown is a former Major League Baseball outfielder born on Tuesday, December 29, 1959, in San Francisco, California. He played all or part of five seasons in the major leagues between 1983 and 1988, and one season in Japan with the Yomiuri Giants in 1990.

Brown was selected by the California Angels in the 7th round of the 1980 Major League Baseball Draft. He was 23 years old when he broke into the big leagues with the Angels on July 21, 1983.
