Dr. Allen C. Steckle was an American college football coach at the University of Nevada, and at Oregon State University, then known as Oregon Agricultural College..

Collegiate coaching

From 1901 to 1903, Steckle served as the head football coach at the University of Nevada. In his three seasons as the head coach, he compiled a 6-9-2 record.

In 1904, Steckle became the head coach at Oregon State. He was the head coach from 1904 to 1905.
