In 1981, Jim Carpenter opened the first Wild Birds Unlimited retail store in Indianapolis, Indiana. Wild Birds Unlimited has grown to over 300 [http://www.franchising.com/wildbirds/ franchise stores] across the United States and Canada. The stores sell bird seed, bird feeders, gifts and many other bird feeding supplies.

The company provides the products, services, expertise and atmosphere that helps people bring nature into their backyards.
